Pets!
We have two dogs and two cats and they keep us pretty busy. For one thing, you can't keep a big house clean with that much pet hair floating around. Cleo is our bassett hound. PJ is our pit bull/boxer. He's really old now but is still going. He and Cleo are best buddies. Cleo is the alpha in the relationship.
Simon is our huge gray tabby. He's very bossy and isn't afraid of anything. Whenever he can, he sneaks out of the house and tours the neighborhood and we have to hunt him down and bring him back. Sophie, our orange tabby, is the sweetest cat we've ever seen. Even people who don't like cats like Sophie. She's kind of a busy body, always watching what we're doing, but she never gets in the way -- she just hangs out nearby and watches with great interest.
