Upcoming Projects: This summer we will be working on Jill's study. The work will include 1) stripping paint from the molding and windows; 2) repainting the walls; 3) stripping and refinishing the oak mantel; 4) refurbishing and rebuilding a 10-foot-long, 8-foot-high display cabinet, which we'll install against one wall; and 5) selecting some key furnishings to finish the room.  We will build and install some book cases in the third floor hallway to supplement our newly built library (already we're out of space for books!). This will entail fitting 4 vintage cabinet doors into new cabinetry, then trimming it out to look era-appropriate.  Our third project for the summer is to have C & S Ornamental Iron install 120 feet of cresting on our brick wall in the backyard. This complements the iron canopy we put over the front doors last year. |
